Don’t get comfortable

Comfort is a state of mind, which may control your ability to adapt and be at ease. In regards to work it is satisfying to do the same type of assignments/projects year after year but after mastering that genre its learning new things that keep us challenged in our careers/life.

Through this past year I had to brake out of my industry comfort zone/bubble and experienced inspiring events. No pigeon holes, forgetting to take a break to see the light or take a breath of fresh air. Well I actually didn’t have that but I’ve heard back breaking horror stories that help me appreciate what I’ve had and have today.

Remember to engage in conversation outside of your daily routine. Meet new peers, attend different industry events, go to new sites to help inspire your psyche, etc. Try not to restrict yourself and allow your perspective, evolve.
